Who we are
My Virtual Professionals (Pty) Ltd ("MVP", "we", "us") is a South African company offering virtual professional services to clients in South Africa, the United States, the European Union, and Australia. This policy explains how we handle the personal information you share with us.
What information we collect
We collect personal information when you:
- Submit the contact form on this site (first name, email, optional phone, industry, comments).
- Download a free template (email).
- Engage with us as a client (the information you share to deliver the service).
- Reach out via email or phone.
We also collect anonymous behavioural data via PostHog (page views, button clicks, scroll depth) to improve the site. No personal information is attached to those events.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare your free consultation.
- To deliver the services you've engaged us to deliver.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the site (anonymous analytics).
- To send you the templates you requested and (with your consent) related useful content.
- To meet our legal and tax obligations.
Cookies + tracking
The cookie banner gives you three categories: essential (always on), analytics (PostHog), and marketing. Essential cookies keep the site working — currency preference, theme, consent state. Analytics cookies are anonymous and aggregated. Marketing cookies are off by default.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with the service providers we use to deliver the service (cloud hosting, email delivery, payment processing). We do not sell your personal information.
Where it's stored
Personal information is stored in South Africa and (for international clients) in the relevant region's data centre. Where information crosses borders, the transfer is governed by the appropriate cross-border safeguards.
Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to processing for direct marketing.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
